ROI Communication’s joint campaign with Toyota Motor North America and North Star Communications has been named the 2015 Best Internal Communications Campaign of the year by PR Week.
This award recognizes skill, creativity, tone and overall impact of an internal communications and employee engagement campaign during a major company transformation. In judging entries PR Week also examines the measurement practices and results garnered from the campaign.
In honoring the campaign with this award, PR Week highlighted the collaboration, extensiveness and authenticity of the campaign.
Toyota “delivered its message in an honest and clear way,” noted a judge.
The One Toyota campaign was initiated last spring to bring its four existing North American headquarters under one roof in Plano, Texas. These changes, which also involved integrating other affiliates, would impact all 40,000 U.S. employees to some degree, and especially the 4,500 being asked to move.
