Claudio Gutierrez helps clients bring their stories to life. Whether he is producing a large-scale event at the foot of Egypt’s Great Pyramids, pioneering digital technologies or building a client’s brand, he strives to tell those stories in a way that doesn’t just capture people’s attention, but their hearts and imagination as well.
“I like bringing together visual elements, great content and new technologies into a cohesive, synergistic story – one voice, one design,” Claudio said. “When that happens, you can create extraordinary experiences and communicate in ways the audience will never forget.”
Claudio, President and Chief Creative Officer of CG Creative Studios, has been a strategic partner with ROI Communication since 2014. He and his team of multimedia designers, digital technologists and event producers collaborate with ROI to produce dynamic and engaging solutions. “Ultimately, our goal is to tell a great story that supports each client’s goals.”
During the past two decades, Claudio’s work includes designing Paul McCartney’s website, helping Microsoft inspire a new generation of young people and delivering digital solutions for Avery Dennison, Disney, Genentech, Hewlett-Packard, Robert Mondavi, Sony, Toyota and VMware.
Before founding CG Creative Studios, Claudio was the Global Creative Director at Hewlett-Packard and, prior to that, served as Worldwide Creative Director for Peregrine Systems and InfoImage. He launched and led his own design firm, worked in the apparel licensing business and was an Art Director for large public relations firms, including Porter Novelli and Casey & Sayre.
His many awards include an American Marketing Association AMIE Award for Design, a Peregrine Chairman’s Award for design of the Frictionless Business brand, and an HP Circle Award for support of an M&A communications program for HP Software.
When he’s not working with clients, Claudio enjoys spending time with his son and playing his drums – a legacy of his days as a musician and whose bands opened for The Dave Matthews Band, Counting Crows and Toad the Wet Sprocket.
