Linda Pederson is a proven communications professional with more than 20 years of experience in internal and external communications, media and analyst relations, crisis management, journalism and public affairs.
In her current role, Linda focuses on designing executive, sales and change communication strategies that enhance leadership credibility, engage and inspire employees, and improve the bottom line. Some of her recent clients include Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, HP Inc., Adobe and Oracle.
Linda first honed her communication skills as a general assignment reporter and producer for various CBS and NBC affiliates, where she learned the paramount importance of accuracy, clarity and simplicity when trying to convey a story or a message.
“I try to keep things simple, because good, clear communication is essential to helping people understand the goals and challenges they face,” Linda said. “This is such an important component of any business strategy, so I enjoy helping leaders keep it simple.”
At ROI, Linda specializes in executive communications and strategic counseling, the creation and execution of enterprise social networking strategies, integrated communication plans, employee engagement programs, and tier one event management.
Prior to joining ROI in 2005, Linda created and managed global communication campaigns for a variety of companies in the high-tech, entertainment, political and real estate arenas. Past clients include Yahoo! Inc., Lucasfilm, Ltd., San Francisco Office of the Mayor and Bechtel Corporation. She received a B.A. in communications from the University of California at San Diego.
