About Kavon

Kavon Zamanian is a self-described pixel-pusher, translating static images and graphics into dynamic animations that engage, entertain and inform. “I make things move,” he said – a vital skill in an age when the competition for eyeballs is unrelenting.
Specializing in Adobe After Effects and adept in Adobe Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop, and DaVinci Resolve, Kavon has helped prominent clients in a wide range of industries tap the power of animation to connect and communicate more effectively.
Kavon has been working in the animation field for more than a decade, building his career on a passion he first discovered in 10th grade, when he taught himself to program a light-saber effect on his computer, and studied algorithms that enabled him to align the jumbled color tiles of any Rubik’s Cube in less than a minute.
Before joining the ROI Communication team, Kavon ran his own motion and animation consultancy, worked as the in-house video editor and motion graphics animator at Insider Marketing, and previously held roles at Shutterstock and its animation subsidiary, Rocketstock.
Kavon earned a BA in Radio, Video and Film Production from the University of North Texas, and has completed additional coursework in entrepreneurship at Oklahoma State University. He now lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he enjoys slaloming down mountain roads on his well-worn skateboard – a sport that many people know from Ben Stiller’s Icelandic descent in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
